Sailors, Saints, & Sinners

I’m Back

Been away from the blog-o-sphere while my blog is getting updated.  Thanks to  Adam Walker for updating and upgrading Sailors, Saints, and Sinners. 

Here’s a quick dump of some things going on in my head and heart right now:

• Beth and I had a great weekend get-away for her birthday last weekend.
• We are really praying and working hard to bring on the RIGHT staff for where our church is now and where we are heading.
• I’m excited about our new series, My Secrets which starts next Sunday,  April 29th.
• We will implement a new creative process next week.  The creative process is how we plan for and prepare our weekend services.  It includes everything from the message to staging to lights to song choices to dramas to video.  I think this process will take us to another level in terms of worship and the weekend service.
• Our meetings to master plan our Dalton campus are going well. 
• Rock Bridge Calhoun is progressing … as we’ve hired a Campus Pastor (more on this in another post).
• We’ve moved our offices around to make room for future staff hires.  Most of our staff will share an office (except for me).  I moved into a small office that did belong to the Student Ministry.  The colors are crazy and includes pink … I’m sure I’ll change that soon.  So for the first time in 3+ years I have a different office. 
• Moved the screens in the Wink Theatre to open up the stage, project a clearer image, and bring back our ability to use live feed.  It looks great and makes the stage much more functional and usable.
• My desire to pray and seek God and have close fellowship with Him is GROWING!!
• PRAY HARD FOR WHAT IS GOING, WILL DO, AND WANTS TO DO!!!
