Simply Amazing!
Our volunteers never cease to amaze me! This past weekend at our baptism our Baptism team totally rocked!!
- They cleaned up the creek, picnic area, and parking area at the farm
- They fed BBQ (good!) and hot dogs (yea Ken Brown and your gigantic grill!)Â to over 800 people with little waiting (6 serving lines!!)
- They helped park tons of cars.
- They greeted and treated tons of people with trademark Rock Bridge hospitality.
- They served up some great desserts.
- THEY ARE WHAT MAKE THIS CHURCH HAPPEN WEEK IN and WEEK OUT!!
I remember when my Dad bought that farm several years ago. He told me recently that he believed God allowed him to have that farm specifically for our Baptism celebrations …
Dad, I believe you are right! We see the church in action … people going public with their faith, volunteers serving passionately, guests being welcomed warmly … it’s awesome … it’s Acts 2 … it’s a God-thing … and I am so glad to be part of it!!
