Town Crier
The local paper used to have section called “The Town Crier” where they would feature a short, human-interest story or factoid. [You can read more about the town crier here.]
Well, wanted to share 2 awesome things that would be “town crier” worthy!
1) Salvation. Someone else who has been attending Rock Bridge Calhoun received Christ today!!!Â
2) Iron sharpens iron. Had a great meeting on Tuesday with Greg Oraham who pastors a rocking church that is changing Seneca, SC. Always encouraging to meet with other folks who are working hard to reach their community for Christ. Greg’s got a lot of wisdom and they are thinking about going multi-site (go for it!). I think it is always important to remember that as Christians and in the church we are a small part (the local church) of something big (the kingdom of God) … as opposed to the other way around. God is working all over the world to bring people back to Him!
